Mariah Carey enters her next chapter with two new singles, “Type Dangerous” and “Sugar Sweet”, ahead of her upcoming album Here for It All, out September 26.
In an interview with @zanelowe on Apple Music 1, Carey described the album as “a reflection of everything I’ve been through in the last decade, the real stuff, the highs and lows, all of it.” This marks her first full-length release in seven years.
“Type Dangerous”, flips an Eric B. & Rakim sample with production from @anderson._paak. The Joseph Kahn–directed video is bringing that nostalgic 2000’s vibes back.
“Sugar Sweet” is the second single from Mariah Carey’s upcoming sixteenth studio album, Here for It All. The song features singers @kehlani and @shenseea and is expected to be released on Friday, July 25, 2025.
