Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s mother, Pamela Warner, has shared her first public words since the actor’s tragic passing in Costa Rica. In a heartfelt message, she described her son as a kind and loving man with an unwavering dedication to inspiring others. She spoke about his mission to help people recognize their own inner strength and live fully in the present.

Pamela remembered Malcolm not only as a celebrated actor and musician, but as a devoted husband, father, and son. She called him her teacher, coach, confidant, and best friend. She reflected on his passion for acting from a young age and his musical journey that began at 26, eventually earning Grammy nominations and an award with his band, Miles Long.

She shared that Malcolm was “birthed through water and transitioned through water,” finding comfort in the idea that he passed peacefully, without suffering. Pamela encouraged those who loved him to hold onto the parts of his life that touched them, keeping his spirit alive through the peace, love, and light he carried.
